This poster is nothing like what the original Star Trek was about.
Kirk and Spock didn’t beam down to planets with fancy suits and awesome guns; they beamed down with curiosity, self-determination, and an indomitable spirit.
Star Trek was a cerebral show, about ideas; the new Star Trek is just about looking good. Why couldn’t they have just titled it “Kick Ass Space Movie”, and left the name of “Star Trek” out of it?
